My best friend

I have a best friend.
Her name is Ellie.
She is 3 years old and the most AMAZING little girl on the face of this earth.
 {of course besides my 4 sisters}

See that girl with me in my header?
yep.
That's her.
She has the most beautifulest blue eyes.
Oh. And did I mention my little sister and her are best friends too?

I know with everything in me that is little girl will never leave me.
Even when I'm 90 years old and she's only 79.
I love you Ellie :)

Cooking dinner

okay, just a warning to anyone who is following, I will be posting more then once or even twice a day so beware!

Tonight for dinner we had spaghetti. We had no sauce. So i automatically thought "I'll make my own." Thanks to my mothers over prepare-itve-ness we had an extra can of plain tomato sauce in the pantry from when we made chili a few weeks ago. And this is what came out of it. A whole blog post about spaghetti sauce :) On the bright side, I got a new recipe out of it!

Homemade spaghetti sauce:

First you're gonna brown the ground beef in about 2 tablespoons of butter {yumm}.

While thats cooking your gonna mix {in a separate bowl}, your tomato sauce. Your Italian seasoning and your garlic. {a little salt and pepper, red pepper flakes, and a teaspoon of sugar.}

                                             Remove from meat from heat and pour in sauce.

                                                 {Sorry but these were taken on an iPod. My camera died :(}

Then, let it sit and bubble on the back of the stove until you are ready to eat!

Recipe:
  • 1 lb ground beef.
  • 1 29 oz and 1 8 oz can of plain tomato sauce
  • 1 tbls. minced garlic
  • 2 tbls. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
brown ground beef in a pot with 2 tablespoons butter
in separate bowl mix all other ingredients
when meat is done cooking {no longer pink},
remove from heat and pour in tomato sauce mixture

when completely heated through, serve over spaghetti.

A day in the life of me. :)

I'm not sure if any of you know this, but I'm home-schooled.
So my day pretty much consists of School and sometimes Wii.
 I took a picture this morning of what my day looks like.

Here it is:

New point of view...

Some of you may remember me

I've had a change of heart and finally decided
what my blog was going to be about!

I was complaining to my mom today about how I can never
figure out what to blog. My genius brother said
“Write about life. It’s like a really long facebook status.
And you’re good at those.”

I about died laughing then realized, he was right!
All the blogs I read are about people’s lives. I was
 beating myself up trying to figure out why in the
world I couldn't think of anything to write but all
these mommies with babies could.
“I’m only 15, I have no distractions, and I can’t think of anything to write!”

SO this blog is now about me, my family, and
most importantly, my relationship with Christ.

Sure, I’ll enter into some photo challenges and link them here;
sure I’ll post LOTS of pictures. But that’s what my life is, pictures!
I love to take pictures and if I can take pictures of the amazing
things God created then that’s even better.

I hope you’ll join me in my journey! J
